New Orleans (March 7, 2016) — The Independent Community Bankers of America® (ICBA) today announced it has extended its Preferred Service Provider agreement with Main Street, Inc. to bring full-service check manufacturing to community banks. Main Street, Inc. has offered exclusive discounts and specialized customer service to ICBA members since 2005.
“Main Street, Inc.’s check service, designed specifically for community banks, is valued among bankers for variety, quick turnaround, competitive pricing and service,” said Dan Clancy, ICBA executive vice president of services. “ICBA is pleased to continue our relationship and bring additional value to ICBA member banks.”
Main Street, Inc., formally known as Main Street Checks, has transitioned to a new name and branding to better reflect the alignment between the company’s core values and those of community bankers. Like community banks, Main Street, Inc. values relationships and ensures that business needs are met through personal touches at each stage of the development of a check program, including goals, pricing, training, check design, and frequent program reviews. Additionally, Main Street, Inc.’s online ordering system and 24-hour in-plant turnaround time make it simple for community banks to quickly and efficiently meet the needs of their customers.
“Main Street is proud to be an ICBA Preferred Service Provider. We are committed to offering check-printing solutions that make banking simpler to the more than 1,000 community banks we serve. At the same time, we realize the marketplace is changing and we are positioning Main Street for the future economy. Our offerings are diversified to align with the needs of the industry,” said Ted Walton, president of Main Street, Inc. “Look for new products and services from us in the months ahead as we continue to add value and create opportunities for community banks and their customers.”
